Welcome to the 2011 - 2012 school year. Our first few seasons of field shows are under our belts and our kids did a great job. They worked hard and it paid off in the end. Kudos to Mr. Dugger and Mr. McElwee and everyone who helped in so many ways. The band program in the Highland School District is a big success, due in large part to the Highland Band Parents' Association. Many parents share their time and talents to enhance the band program activities for grades five (5) through twelve (12).

The Highland Band Parents' Association strives to support the instrumental music program in the Highland Community schools, encourage the study of instrumental music for vocation or avocation, and provide a common bond between all band students, band directors, the school and parents. If you have a child in the band program grades five (5) through twelve (12) you are a member of the Highland Band Parents' Association.

The Band Parents' Association encourages and invites you to attend our monthly meetings held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM in the high school band room. Also return to this site for updates on events supporting our kids.
